scrapping outback -may challenge

hello, a quick share today for my first ever entry to scrapping outback may recipe challenge
rules.....
We would like you to create a layout by mixing these
 4 ingredients together:
1. Chipboard
2. Minimum 2 colours
3. Masking
4. Flowers
You can add seasoning to taste (other ingredients), but it must contain the 4 basic ingredients mentioned above.

this is my page

with a close up of the chipboard, flowers, masking (in gesso) and the different shades of colours.

this photo is probably about 3 years old but i just love it.
this baby is my mischeif maker so the little poem goes so well with it.
but that adorable smile gets him out of alot of trouble as its simply irresistible.
i thought the colours in the (old) kaiser paper just matched perfectly with the picture.

thanks for looking and any comments you may leave.
look forward to seeing if i can fit their next challenge in.

tcr and cardabilities-may

i must admit that i dont make cards, but....i love cardabilities.
i have used them for little off the page projects and even for my 12x12 pages.
i have used the new sketch for a cover for a note-book, and i totallly understand that i wont be able to enter the competition with it but i dont scrap for the chance to win. i scrap for the enjoyment and i have decided to give credit where credit is due and to show you what i did with their gorgeous sketch.
so here is the sketch
here is my note book

and the colour inspiraton comes from the color room #168

thanks for looking and any comments you may leave.

page draft-may challenge

this month page drafts have given us some awesome sketches to use on a challenge.
here is the sketch i picked which as you will be able to see i rotated to suit my chipboard.

the theme : one of a kind
i have chosen to use a photo of a scan of my unborn baby.
although this gorgeous baby isnt an only child, their little personality and mannerism im sure will be different making them "one of a kind"

so here is my page

and i thought i would show you my banner.
i cut out the triangled banners that were pre existing on the card stock and then using overhead projector sheets (lol...so old school) i put the rub on on it and used it as a transperency and layered it over the two triangled banners.

we dont know the sex of the baby so i have tried to make my page quiet unisex.
thanks for looking and any comments you may leave.

once upon a sketch & scrap it with attitude-may

i really look forward to the beginning of the month as most of the new challenges come out.
this month i found so much inspiration so i had to get scrapping straight away.
i have combined 2 challenges today.
first one is once upon a sketch
comes with this gorgeous sketch
and this months theme : anything goes

easy ....so the journalling is on the back and is a few little sentences to my little man in the pic about how much i enjoy our little cuddles for him to go to sleep.
some people say its a bad habit to get into but to be honest...i find it very comforting to know that i have the time (being a stay at home mum ) to be able to do this with all of my children and they have all grown out of it in their own time.

the second is scrap it with attitude.
this is the first time i have played along with this site and i found them through following one of their dt members janice nicholls
they are a facebook only site so im not too sure if i have broken any rules(as im not on facebook, so im not too sure how im going to enter either...lol) and if so i do appologise but i couldnt resist their mood board.
definitely was inspired by the colours and the baby in the pic,the i love you mum, the flowers and the long flowing dress worked well with nadia cannizzo's sketch

so here is my page

thanks for looking and any comments you may leave.
